abstract = {This paper shows solution for problem of digitalization and archiving paper documents. Implementation and integration is also shown in the medical information system (MIS) MEDIS.NET. The solution is implemented as a client/server application and it consists of two parts: digitization and archiving. The digitalization section provides saving of paper document in digital data format, while the archiving section provides storage for archiving digital data. The system can be used as an independent system or as a part of a complex system such as medical information system, in our case, MIS MEDIS.NET. © 2012 IEEE.},
